On the basis of a ten-year practice the authors of the book E.Vilenskaya, E.Poliakova and S.Podol'sky came to the conclusion that Russian army conscripts should not use short respite because of the limitation of the term of their validity. According to the opinion of the authors it is much more reasonable to use their legal right for exemption from military service because of health problems. Protection of legal rights of conscripts in the present-day Russia is in the center of attention in the book.
