The book is a reedition of Issue 2 published in 2006. The second issue includes three parts – “Historical Library of Kamchatka” that presents works of A.S.Sgibnev, V.N.Berkh published in 1820-1860; “Time Self-Portrait” that includes archival materials and memoirs characterizing the relations between Russia and Japan in the XVIII-XIX centuries; and “Revealing Secrets” includes articles devoted to the history of the peninsula settlements and villages, local self-government authorities, industrial enterprises. The edition has amplified illustrating material.
