The monograph examines the philosophical and legal substantiation of the categories of freedom and arbitrariness in Russian civil law, their concept and content, as well as interaction and mutual influence. Special attention is paid to the specifics of the correlation of freedom and arbitrariness of the parties to the contract at the stages of its conclusion, execution, amendment and termination.
