The book provides numerous unclassified documents from funds of the Russian State Archive of Modern History and the Archive of the President of the Russian Federation about the work of the highest party and state structure in the USSR – Politburo (Presidium) of Central Committee of the CPSU in 1959-1964. The third and concluding volume is a documentary supplement to the 1st volume, in which scratch records of the meetings of Presidium of the Central Committee of the CPSU made by V.N.Malinin, head of the General department, as well as shorthand notes of his meetings are published. This volume includes regulations of Presidium of the Central Committee of the CPSU drawn up according to final drafts of minutes of the meetings of this body and other documents, the discussion of which was reflected in scratch and shorthand records. The published documents are of great historical value for studying an important period in the USSR history, the epoch of fundamental changes in different spheres of life in soviet society, associated with the name of N.S.Khrushchev.
