In order to understand some important trends of the present, and even some deep principles, you do not need to devote yourself to philosophical texts - it is enough to take a taxi often. This is exactly what a university professor of anthropology did, who, after breaking her foot and the medical complications that followed, drove herself to therapy every day. In the process, she chatted with Uber drivers, precarious workers whose work is organized by an algorithm, i.e. Uber's application. Following her conversations, fragments that she later recorded, a wide range of life opens up before us: life under loans, love for the homeland, emigration to Ireland, pensioners as a burden, escape to the countryside, lack of hope, conspiracies, insulting fat women, hatred of the Roma , homosexuals and single mothers who are caregivers.
