The monograph is dedicated to Russian political identity forming problem in the post-Soviet period. Three alternatives - Soviet, post-Soviet negative and post-Soviet synthetic - are singled out. Their change is determined as the main tendency of Russian political identity evolution. The assertion of the synthetic alternative is considered a post-Soviet transition period completion symptom.
