The monograph investigates the historical period connected with intervention of the Polish-Lithuanian State into a domestic policy of Russia in the early XVIIth century. Special attention is drawn to reaction of the Russian society to actions of the Polish-Lithuanian politicians and troops. The appendix provides a stereotyped image of a Pole created by the Russian society under the experienced interaction.
