The titles comprise reports by the participants of the scientific conference "Philology and the Present". The main topic of the reports in the first part is the analysis of the complicated relationships between the writer and the time reflected in his works. Methods of interpreting fiction are also considered. The reports of the second part touch upon grammatical structures and language patterns, stylistic characteristics of literary and scientific texts, onomasiological and dialectal linguistic features.
