Like the preceding publications of the bulletin, the 9th issue of "Philological Notes" incorporates six principal theme sections: "Literature in the March of Epochs"; "Life of Language"; "From the Past: Publications, Memoirs and Reports; "For a Teacher of Literature"; "In the World of Books" as well as "Facts, Events and Names", each comprising a wide spectrum of works in the history and theory of the Russian language, literature, and literary study of local lore.
