The work elaborates the theoretical principles of the concept of Islamic economics and correlates it with the practice of economic activities of the governments of Turkey and Iran, which are considered to be the elites of the Islamic world. The optimal models of economic development from the point of view of these countries, their specificity and flexibility are investigated.
