The present edition acquaints its readers with the story of Papanin’s group of four. The book is published for the 70th anniversary of the floating station “North Pole-1”. There are many books and articles dedicated to the history of the first floating station. Still, of main interest represent the memoirs and diaries by those, who took part in the event.
