The book describes some pages of the history of one of the oldest settlements in Dagestan – the Kumyk village of Endirei and about one its glorious sons – the leader of the liberation movement of the peoples of the North-Eastern Caucasus in the first half of the 19th century, the imam of Chechnya (1834-1840).
