"Outlines are different" is the name of the collection of hand-drawn drawings and drawings of Hetman Janusz Radziwill, which is a unique collection and has no close analogues in the Eastern European region. They depict a large number of buildings and landscapes of entire cities of the eastern lands of Belarus and Ukraine, which were severely damaged or completely destroyed during the war of 1648-1667. At the same time, this collection is a reflection on paper of the author and one of the most interesting and controversial figures in the history of the Rzeczpospolita in the 17th century. The book publishes drawings of the hetman from the National Historical Archive of Belarus and the Russian National Library, attributes them, analyzes the themes of images and individual plots, as well as the context of their creation.
