The book contains dozens of criminal stories from different periods: from those that took place in the revolutionary years to terrible crimes in modern Kazakhstan. A. Dzhaldinov, having studied the materials of hundreds of criminal cases in the archives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and courts of the republic, tried to reveal the very essence of each of them. Some of the episodes are based on the recollections of former and current police officers who were in the operational investigative groups to solve crimes.
