The special camps created by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the USSR in 1948 - 1955 occupied a particular place in the system of the state repressive policy. More than 60 thousands of prisoners were jugged there. The offered book represents a historical research work, dedicated to the deep analysis of this phenomenon.
