The publishing house starts publication of the “Russian Book Illustration”, a new series of unique art reproductions with a folder of “The Master and Margarita”, a novel by M.Bulgakov, illustrations by G.Kalinovskii, a well-known Moscow graphic artist.
Gennadii Kalinovskii (1929-2006) worked on the illustrations in 1985. For the first time in whole they were published by a St.Petersburg publishing house “Vita Nova” in the “Manuscript” series in 2001. The graphic artist was awarded a prize as the best illustrator at the “Best Books of the Year” contest, which took place during the XVth International Book Trade Exhibition in Moscow. Illustrations are published by authority of the publishing house “Vita Nova”.
Gift edition. For art lovers and collectors. The illustrations can be mounted and used interior decoration.
