The book is compiled in the form of memoirs of the life and activities of Nikolay Krasavchenko (1916-1993), who was a public figure, the first Rector of Kalmyk State University and the Head of Moscow State Historical and Archival Institute. Outstanding scientists, literary men, relatives, friends, colleagues and students of N.P.Krasavchenko are among the authors of the book.
