Radziwill is a family of high nobility which has been powerful and important in Belarus for centuries, first in the Grand Duchy of Lithuania and later in Rzeczpospolita, whose members made great contribution to the national politics, science and culture. The Corpus Christi Church (1587-93), one of the earliest (if not the earliest) Jesuit church in the world, was sponsored and created by the Radzivill.
