The monograph is devoted to an understudied aspect of Taras Shevchenko's life and work, which is also discussed in the latest "Shevchenko Encyclopedia". Practically for the first time the intimate and love discourses in the voluminous multi-genre Shevchenkiana, the creative interpretations of Shevchenko's relationships with women in different periods of his life, the extent of relevant conjectures and fictions in the works, in particular depending on the stylistic and gender-genre characteristics of the literary texts, have been systematically investigated.
