This monograph is the second volume (book one), devoted to the study of such a complex and multifaceted phenomenon as Muslim mysticism. On the basis of a large textological material, the issues of Muslim philosophy, theology and mysticism are considered as a variety of currents of philosophical thought throughout the entire path of the formation of Islamic doctrine. The author puts the task of considering the genesis of Sufi concepts and spiritual practices known to us in the context of the existing centuries-old contradictions between supporters of orthodox Islam and mysticism at the forefront.
