The edition contains the correspondence of the two philosophers M.Lifshits and D. Lukacs in 1931-1970. Their original letters are in the archive of D. Lukacs in Hungary. The annex contains 12 documents describing the historical background of that time. Most of the materials are published for the first time. 491 notes reveal the names and events mentioned in the correspondence.
