The author presents a historical reconstruction of homes and outbuildings of the Black Sea and linear Cossacks from the end of the XVIIIth century up to the middle of the XIXth century, when the Black Sea and Caucasian linear Cossack troops existed as independent units. The monograph includes graphic materials of the early XIXth century, stored in the collections of the State Archive of Krasnodar region - architectural drawings, orthogonal projects of the buildings of different functionality, photos of beginning of XXth century from the funds of Krasnodar State History and Archeology Museum, many published for the first time.
