"Manuscript of Magnush" is a unique old Russian literary monument of the XVth c., composed by a Novgorod scribe on behalf of the Swedish king Magnush Eriksson, who tried to attack the Novgorod land in the XIVth c. The monument has come to us as a part of old Russian annals of the XVth - the XVIIIth centuries. The author of the work examines all the known lists of monuments, marks out versions, studies historical atmosphere of the time of the text's creation, its genre particularities and the problem of authorship.
