The book is dedicated to the art of dance, Russian ballet history and its creators. The author of the book has devoted all life to the art of dance first as a ballet dancer in Leningrad Maly Opera and Ballet Theatre and Igor Moiseyev Folk Dance Ensemble and then chose the way of choreography historian and ballet critic. She is the author of several books and many articles including the articles on such little investigated problem as “variety dance”.
