A book tells about the imprisonment of Lithuanian people - politicians and intellectuals, workers and farmers - in the Stutthof concentration camp, their deaths and sufferings. A number of books and publications have been published around the This book by a Lithuanian historian is perhaps the first in which information about the Lithuanians imprisoned and killed in Stutthof is documented and detailed. Thousands of Lithuanian residents of various nationalities were imprisoned in the Stutthof concentration camp, hundreds of them died here. The book contains the names, surnames, profession, year of birth and death, prisoner numbers, and the cause of their death of imprisoned Lithuanians. An appendix to the publication that deserves special attention, especially for the prisoners' relatives, is a list of 46 hostages imprisoned in the Stutthof concentration camp in 1943-1945. It also indicates the place of death of prisoners and the possible place of life, death or burial of those who have already been freed.
