Literature with Premeditation: A Creative Biography of Slobodan Selenic is the first book of its kind about the once most widely read, but now almost completely forgotten and marginalized writer. The extensive research conducted in this study is divided into three parts: the first consists of a reconstruction of the writer's biography based on extensive archival material (documents, letters, photographs, interviews); the second contains a thorough critical analysis and literary-historical contextualization of Selenic's oeuvre (novels, plays, theater criticism, journalism); while the third brings contributions from the writer's legacy (early stories, unrealized scenarios, a file with selected documentation). After his books on Borislav Mihajlovic Mihiz and Vladan Desnica, the author brings another significant writer, who has been completely unjustly neglected by the local public, back to the center of reader and professional attention.
