Nikolai Mikhailovich is a member of the Belarusian Literary Union “Polotsk Branch” RPO, author of more than a dozen collections of stories and novellas, winner and finalist of various literary competitions.
This year he became a laureate of the Ales Savitsky Literary Prize. This prize was awarded for the fiction-documentary trilogy "Life as an Inheritance", in which a dramatic picture of the first months of the Great Patriotic War on the Polotsk land is revealed to the reader.
