The title is devoted to the analysis of Lev Trotsky's theoretical and practical activities, the man who contributed greatly to solving the issues related to set-up of military regime and realization of concept of the world socialistic revolution. The author highlights Trotsky's contribution to external and internal objectives of the Red Army as well as to upbringing of soldiers. Trotsky's ability to analytically predict the future is also unveiled: he managed to foresee the Fascists coming to power and to specify the terms of the beginning of World War II.
