The book is based on the diary entries of the political educator of the UPA Lev Futala - "Lagidny", which cover the period from July 7, 1946 to October 28, 1947 and reflect his activities and daily life, as well as serve as a documentary source for the history of the UPA Gromenko. 95 - U-2 UPA-West). The notes refer to the period of activity of hundreds in the III district of the Kholodny Yar subdistrict in the Transcarpathian region, as well as the time of the Great Raid of the UPR's Peremyshl smokehouse units to the West, in the American zone of occupation of Germany. The publication is supplemented by a document about Lagido's heroic deeds during the Polish Army's raid on the insurgent asylum and his memoir "From the Carpathians in Peremyshl" about the actions of the Gromenko commander's department in 1945-1946.
