The present book contains works by Lukacs (1885 – 1971), a genius Hungarian philosopher and literary critic, by right considered to be the founder of the tradition of western Marxism. His works became the “Bible” for the left movement in the West, providing it with a revolutionary ethics, so scarce before. In the 1920s Lukacs was one of the Marxists, who opposed the “vulgar Leninism”, largely spread by Zinoviyev, Stalin and Bukharin. In those times his books became philosophic classics for the European intellectuals.
