The edition is based on the results of the author's research conducted in the course of seven years and devoted to life of the Jewish Community in Latvia before the Holocaust. It includes description of the community's peculiarities, towns and villages of its settlement, its daily life, labor and upbringing of children as well as places of homicide and burial of the Jews on the territory of Latvia during the Great Patriotic War.
