Latvian people owe their extant spiritual wealth to great Anss Lerhis-Puskaitis who devoted almost all his life to studying of Latvian folklore. All the found materials the researcher put together in one book, which was divided into several parts and published at the end of the XIXth century. The second volume of the VIIth part only being kept as a manuscript comes out for the first time.
