A report by Khruschev at the XXth party conference is nothing more, than a story about large unjustified repressions, when people were arrested without any reasons, just by Stalin’s order, then tried and executed. Later on, official and “democratic” historians and journalists estimated about tens of millions of the repressed and the Soviet people, who were used to trust mass media and scientific degrees, and undoubtedly accepted everything they heard or read.
