The book is about the life and work of Ivan Naidenov (1834-1910), a prominent Bulgarian journalist of the so-called Constantinople circle, publisher of the newspapers "Pravo" ("Justice") and "Napreduk" ("Progress") and an important figure in the struggle for an independent Bulgarian Church. The book includes all memoirs by Naidenov preserved until the present day and his previously unpublished correspondence with writer Svetoslav Milarov and other contemporaries.
