Valery Panyushkin is a writer, well-known journalist, author of the books 12 Dissenters, Rise of Consumers, Gazprom: New Russian Weapons (co-authored with Mikhail Zygar), All Mine Are Already There, The Girl Who Lived. He worked as a journalist in the Kommersant newspaper, on the Dozhd TV channel, wrote for Novaya Gazeta, spoke on the Ekho Moskvy radio station, was the editor-in-chief of the Takie Dela portal, and works for Radio Liberty.
