The culmination of the Soviet totalitarian regime in 1930s-1940s-at the beginning of 1950s is examined. Complete domination of Stalin's regime, ratification of Bolshevist socialist doctrine, state monopoly on mass media and social organizations is illustrated. Much attention is concentrated on the history of mass repressions and terror. The economic life is characterized by the state mode of production with the use of wage slavery. Economic and social militarization as a characteristic feature of totalitarianism, as well as policy of expansion are analysed.
