The author of the monograph, S.Utinova grounds the conclusion that the labor and social fields as well as developing labor-market in Russia reside in non-market elements due to the historic heritage of development of labor relations and objectively formed economic order. The author states her conception of isomorphous market in Russia (similar in its structure but functioning in different conditions), which is based on the optimal combination of market and non-market institutions. Apart from the study of isomorphous market in Russia the author examines contemporary employment theories, issues of information support in labor policy studies and methodological problems in the study of labor-market in Russia. The author evaluates unemployment and employment scales in the Russian Federation.
