The proposed monograph contains materials on intellectual property. The author observes the role of intellectual property in the cultural, economic, scientific and technical development of society, gives the list of definitions, touches upon the mechanism of acquisition of right on intellectual property and its realization as well as the problems of its protection. The Ukrainian normative legislative base is compared to one of the world standard and the ways of its adoption are given.
