The book “Institutional Law of the European Union” consists of three parts: “General Theory”, “Institutions of the European Union” and “Domestic Market and Freedoms”. The first focuses on the evolution of the concept of the European idea, on the emergence of communities and their development before the Lisbon Treaty. The legal order of the Union has undergone a thorough analysis and is accompanied by a brief analysis of the principles of Union law, followed by the relevant case-law of the Luxembourg court. The second part of the document, as its name implies, focuses on seven institutions of the Union, and the third is devoted to an extremely relevant topic for practitioners and, for any citizen of the European Union, the domestic market and freedom.
