The monograph examines current issues of sectoral development of the region's industry in the context of the impact of factors reflecting the complexity and multidimensionality of new economic conditions. The theoretical and methodological basis is disclosed, allowing to study the strategic competitiveness of the regional industries taking into account the vector of industrial policy implementation, the factors of strategic competitiveness, as well as modern trends of the regional industries are generalized and systematized.
A significant place is given to the methodological toolkit for assessing the current level of strategic competitiveness of the regional industries, which was tested on the data of the Perm Territory.
In the course of the study, the author proposed a mechanism and identified priority areas for increasing the competitiveness in question.
