The narrator of this novel is a young man in the turning point of the war-torn country. He tells a story into which - through letters, diary notes, phantasms - a series of human destinies flows. The story is set in contemporary Croatian reality. It starts with the main character thinking about the omnipotence of the banking system, which threatens its existence and remembers the days of great ambitions and expectations.
