Geographically, the settlements, about which Vlad Pron writes quite interestingly, are located not far from the regional center of the Pukhovichi region - Maryina Gorka. In his fictional and documentary essay, the author dwelled on people - natives of these places, on those characters who are somehow connected with the villages of Baba, Berlezh, Bluj and other settlements. There are many illustrations in the book. Vlad Pron talks about ordinary peasants, about students and teachers, about the holders of military orders and medals. The book also tells in detail about the Heroes of the Soviet Union Elena Mazanik, Yevgeny Filipsky, Nikolai Chepik, Heroine of Socialist Labor Alexander Pronovich.
There is an index in the book. After reading it, the reader will understand whether the book contains information about his relatives, close people. Many names pass through the letters of the 1926 census, which is actively used in the book “Abbot.
