The book is the product of Ivan Granitski's longtime contribution to Bulgarian literary criticism, his observations and analyses of the work of the country's most outstanding poets of the above period as well as his favorite ones. Readers may detect some stylistic variations in Granitski's writings, but it should be noted that the assessments and the conclusions he made a long time ago have not only retained their relevance but have been clearly confirmed with time.
