Dzidra Ritenberga (1928–2003) has brilliantly played about 80 major and minor roles in theater and cinema. As a director, she has made eight films at the Riga Film Studio, including such films as “This Dangerous Balcony Door” (1976), “Evening Version” (1980), “Waltz in a Lifetime” (1990) and others. Her memoirs have been made over a long period of time, more than ten years. They tell about childhood in his native Kurzeme, work in theaters and cinemas, as well as about the happy and sad twists and turns of personal life.
