The multi-author monograph presents the results of research made by sociologists of the Tumen Industrial University and their partners within the framework of a grant from the Russian Humanitarian Science Foundation (project №15-03-00367).
The monograph examines the theoretical, methodological and socio-managerial problems associated with the new industrial development of the circular oil and gas region, the socio-economic transformation of the territory of the Tyumen North. Special attention is paid to the issues of modernization and improvement of social efficiency, the specifics of social technologies, regional and municipal management, mechanisms of interaction between government, science, business and institutions of the emerging civil society in the Arctic and Subarctic of Russia.
