The book is the second addition of Volume II of the classical piece of work written by an outstanding historian of Siberia Herard Miller (1705-1783) first published in 1941. The edition includes an appendix containing 485 official documents dated back to the XVI-XVIIth centuries, maps of Siberia of the XVIIth century, comments on the text, a foreword and an index.
