This is a reprint of stories by Buryat writer Shirab-Senge Badluev, first published in Russian translation in 1970. They tell the stories of women in a Buryat village. Shirab-Senge Badluevich Badluev, a novelist, poet, and playwright, was born on December 26, 1924, in the village of Zugalay, Aginsky Buryat Okrug, Transbaikal Territory.
