The book is devoted to the description of the image of Gutsulshchyna, a specific area in Ukraine, in the literary heritage of Gnat Hotkevych. The author of the monograph deals with archive materials, rare editions and periodicals, articles by P.Arsenych and F.Pogrebennyk - famous Ukrainian writers - to present the outstanding personality of Gnat Hotkevych in full measure. Special attention is paid to the theater, founded by the prominent writer that celebrated its 90th anniversary in 2000 year. The book comprises exclusive photographs from P.Arsenych collection.
