After a divorce, Julka, the main character of the story, moves with her daughter to a secluded house she inherited from her beloved grandfather. She decides to live differently, to start anew. She converts the house into a small guesthouse, where she offers her guests relaxation in an oasis of silence, home-cooked meals and the possibility of horseback riding. But even the remote solitude is not without emotional outbursts, troubles and problems...
The story is not only spiced with various situations with the guests, but also portrays Julk's relationship with her daughter, a veterinary student, and with her friends.
