The author of the book worked in the archives of KGB, People's Commissariat of Internal Affairs; he is a member of the National Society of Ukrainian Writers as well. On the basis of numerous archival documents kept under a ban for many years the book presents his reflections about the fate of the Jews during the time of the Communist regime.
